Each weekend has its share of surprises. This week, many cultural activities are to be expected. Shows, concerts, exhibitions… A range of events will be on offer from Friday to Sunday to get out of the house and clear your mind.
Friday April 15
# SOIRÉEROCK
Warren and K20 (impeccable riffs and relentless rhythm) like to mix the best of heavy psychedelic blues rock with pop touches and they will do it at the Salle Diffart in Parthenay from 8:30 p.m.
Parlor Snakes has one foot on either side of the Atlantic. Shared between France and the United States, the group releases a racy and sexy rock where garage, blues and psyche influences collide.
Founded at the end of 2019, The Amber Day mixes folk sounds and pop melodies in original songs, like an inner dive where the intimacy of the lyrics rubs shoulders with both energy and softness.
Apéro-Ornitho
An environmental workshop is organized at Granit in Saint-Loup-Lamairé on Friday April 15, at 7:30 p.m. The principle is simple, spend a friendly moment watching the birds around us. The first theme is the OWL. Information on 07 50 42 90 64.
Saturday April 16
Seeds of Readers Festival 2022
Seeds of Readers is a new book festival for 0-6 year olds, highlighting the work and universe of an artist-illustrator for young audiences at the De Thouars Intercommunal Media Library.
This year, the author Christophe ALLINE is sponsoring the event! Events will take place in all the libraries of the Reading Network!
Theo Ceccaldi in Niort
The richness of the young creative and explosive scene of Addis Kutu was born from the meeting in Addis Ababa of the violinist, improviser and jack of all trades, Théo Ceccaldi, with the fusional voices of the two ethio-rock singers Hewan G/Wold and Haleluya T/Tzadik.
A journey to the heart of the feverish nights of Addis, where the hyperactive youth seizes ancestral music to better free themselves from it. Electro-cosmic keyboards, primitive percussions, hypnotic basses, exalted dances and stellar voices… Anything goes!
An incan-descent ethio-trance combo, where the freedom of jazz mixes with the raw depth of the Azmaris voices that invite you to the Moulin du Roc in Niort.
