Newcastle United fans are liking what they see of Arsenal loan officer Joe Willock.
The 21-year-old has been a regular for the Magpies since Arsenal allowed him to leave temporarily in January.

On Saturday, relegation-threatened Newcastle posted a 1-1 draw against the Wolves, with Joelinton and Willock himself missing big chances to win the game.
While Newcastle fans are upset that his team missed such great opportunities to secure the three points, in the grand overall scheme of things, Willock is impressive.
Both Willock and fellow Arsenal academy product Ainsley Maitland-Niles, who also moved on loan to West Brom in January, may find themselves battling for that final place of survival.
Right now, Willock’s team is floating above the drop zone, while West Brom is in a mess and in the bottom three, but they posted three valuable points over the weekend to increase those chances.
Nonetheless, Willock’s energy, thinking and drive seem to be coming off with the Newcastle jersey.

Some were even impressed that he managed to knock down Wolves sprinter Adama Traore during the game, but he will still be disappointed in the role he played in the Ruben Neves draw.
Nonetheless, here is a selection of Arsenal fans who reacted to Willock’s performance on Saturday:

I saw a lot of improvement in some individual performances tonight.
Shelvey finally looked up for the fight and it was the best I’ve seen of him in a long time.
Despite Miss Joelinton I thought it was a handful
Willock advanced well and almost got his second goal #nufc

They certainly fell 2 points. We were the best team for most of the game, but we missed a lot of opportunities.
However, a shout out to Joe Willock who didn’t sniff Traore ???????? #NUFC

Willock was also good, he is an important player in this midfield. Unfortunately, Lewis started very well, but was then beaten too easily over and over again by Neto.
I need Manquillo to come back as soon as possible.– NUFC (@ScoutNUFC) February 27, 2021

Willock and Clark are the only 2 he would keep from the team currently on the field. #nufc

Does Mike Dean really think Joe Willock could send Adama Traore flying shoulder to shoulder? #NUFC #NEWWOL #BruceOut
