Years after struggling on loan, the seemingly long forgotten Carter-Vickers is now thriving at Bournemouth, as he scored a crucial 88th-minute winning goal against Bristol City on Wednesday night.

The 23-year-old is out of contract at Tottenham at the end of the season and Bournemouth fans want the center-back to sign up permanently.

Hopefully Spurs won’t offer him a new deal given his age and the fact that he hasn’t been used by the north London club since 2017.

But whatever happens, after another dominating display from the American, the South Coasts want him on their doorstep in the summer.

They have the advantage since he is already at the club, his contract will expire in a few months and it should be fairly easy to negotiate a deal.

But it would be something else if he helped Bournemouth win promotion and then he’s moving into Tottenham next season.
