Some Arsenal fans on Twitter believe that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta made the wrong decision by selling Emiliano Martínez to Aston Villa.
Bernd Leno made a mistake against Burnley in the Premier League last weekend, and the German goalkeeper made another mistake against Olympiakos in the Europa League on Thursday night.
The German goalkeeper played the short ball when he could have cleared it in the middle of danger.

Martinez joined Villa from Premier League rivals Arsenal in the summer of 2020 for a transfer fee that according to The Guardian was worth £ 20 million.
The 28-year-old had the opportunity to play regularly for the North London club’s first team in the final weeks of last season when Leno was injured.

However, once the 29-year-old was back in shape, the German was reinstated as a starting goalkeeper and Martinez was sold to Villa.
Leno’s mistake against Olympiakos on Thursday night has led some Arsenal fans on Twitter to question Arteta’s decision to sell Martinez, as shown below.
