John Terry may no longer wear Chelsea’s colors, but he certainly enjoyed life, a little more than usual, as Aston Villa beat Arsenal on Saturday.

For the Aston Villa assistant coach, not only did he want his own side to win all three points against Arsenal, but there seemed to be his Chelsea interior enjoying the win against the North London side.

Chelsea fans have certainly noticed Terry’s celebration, as Ollie Watkins scored the only goal of the game yesterday – his third in two games against the Gunners.

It happened early in the game and from that point on, Dean Smith’s side were able to stop Arsenal’s forward line from putting the ball past their former keeper, Emiliano Martinez.

Some Chelsea fans have even compared Terry’s celebration against Arsenal to that against club Stamford Bridge last season (or lack of celebration).

Either way, the future manager appreciated that Villa climbed the Premier League table yesterday.

It’s a real race for these European places heading into the final months of the campaign, with Villa and Chelsea in the middle.

Villa, eighth, is one point behind Chelsea, sixth, but the London club played an extra game.

Chelsea have got off to a good start in life under the guidance of their new manager – Thomas Tuchel – but he has people like Villa, Everton and West Ham in and around him ready to shake up the apple cart.
