The almost 35-member sports club from Prague will not meet with even 20 people from Monday, as the measures on gathering people allow. It will end completely for two weeks.
“Children’s and youth homes in the Czech Republic have about 310,000 members, and in fact in most regions they are to be switched off for Monday full-time activities, so the complication is quite significant,” said Libor Bezděk, chairman of the association of children’s and youth homes.
For many parents, this can be a complication. They will have to provide babysitting or a replacement program for their children.
“The younger ones end up with grandmothers and grandfathers, which, on the contrary, is a group that is endangered, so it would be better if they spent the afternoon here,” Bezděk added.
Circle leaders from the orange and red areas can connect with children online. For other children ‘s activity operators, the rule so far is that 20 people can be outside, 10 inside.
Also, school clubs can continue to attend school regardless of the coronavirus situation in the region. “There is the same rule as elsewhere. That means 10 people inside, 20 people outside. We are talking about the fact that those rings are limited. It must be said that the measure of the Ministry of Health is widespread,” explained Minister of Education Robert Plaga (YES). .
The houses of children and youth, who, for example, did not have a choice in Prague and had to cancel some activities, will not return the money yet.
