From January 1, the cost of tobacco products from popular Belarusian brands will increase in Belarus, reports A “Minsk-News” with reference to Ministry of Taxes and Duties of Belarus.
It is noted that the changes are provided for by the new edition of the Tax Code, which will also come into force on January 1, 2024.
Thus, the Grodno tobacco factory “Neman” raises the cost of some items by 30 kopecks, including “Minsk”, 10 types of Pall Mall and 7 types of Rothmans.
The Tabak-Invest company is increasing the price of many of its products by 15-30 kopecks, and Kalipso, MAC, and Lucky Strike will rise in price the most.
Cigarettes of different types “Crown” will increase in price by 15-25 kopecks, “Fort” – by 25, Richmond – by 15-20 kopecks, and Camel – by 5.
A number of cigarette brands from Inter Tobacco are rising in price by 30–45 kopecks.
