She does not want to talk about who is the father of Solvita’s expected child. She reveals to the magazine “Privatā Dzīve” that she neither lives with this man nor intends to marry.
“I don’t have a standard situation. Although I am alone, I decided to give birth to a child. The biological father has not yet accepted this fact. Unfortunately, many men in Latvia are infantile and irresponsible,” says Solvita.
Sollu is not intimidated by the difficulties that single mothers have to face. “I dreamed of a second child for many years, and God heard my prayers. I do not support abortions, I believe that a child is a gift from God. I know women who really want children, but cannot get pregnant, they need artificial insemination,” says Solvita.
When Solvita’s first child was born, she was 29 years old, and she is expecting her second child at the age of 44. The future mother of two children thinks that giving birth to children 15 years apart is even better than one after the other, because in this way the mother can devote the same amount of care and love to each child.
Solvita’s first offspring – daughter Michela – lives with her father, but the singer regularly meets with her offspring. Michelle is very happy that she will have a younger brother or sister and is ready to take part in babysitting.
