“We are a toolkit for small businesses wanting to create their own website,” describes President Jonathan Pomerleau. “It is certain that the pandemic has pulled us to the top. For the next seven years, our industry will be experiencing strong growth, ”he continues.
In fact, NovAxis Solutions specializes in web applications. The number of customers of the company jumped more than “25%” last year, and the demand comes “from all over the planet”.
The solutions developed by the company are used to support SMEs in their technological transition, “a major issue today”, and to support workers wishing to set up their website.
The regional solidarity funds FTQ and Investissement Québec have, in recent months, injected “millions of dollars” into this company as part of a round of financing to support its growth plan.

It must be said that NovAxis Solutions changed hands last fall. However, the amount of the transaction was not disclosed.
Quebec must bet blue
The new boss, Mr. Pomerleau, says his organization does business “in 165 countries” and has more than 6 million customers. The majority of customers are located on the European and United States side.
Canada currently represents less than 15% of the organization’s sales. Management would like to change this fact and have more attention from governments when the time comes to find suppliers to develop new digital projects.
“We are fighting against Wix of this world who have thousands of employees and we are 20. It’s like David against Goliath”, illustrates Mr. Pomerleau.
“We want to grow in Quebec and Canada. When people do business with foreign companies, it is an exodus of capital. We are from here, ”continues the businessman, wishing to take advantage of the enthusiasm created during the pandemic for local purchasing.
The tools
Among its digital toolbox, Solutions NovAxis offers, among other things, an application allowing companies to develop logos.
“He’s the rising star of the company. It is a very successful application in the United States. It has doubled its volume for three years, ”says Pomerleau.
Founded in Quebec in 1989, Solutions NovAxis also has applications for the creation of websites or transactional and software for doing business accounting.
“The technological transition is currently at the heart of the strategy of the vast majority of Quebec companies.
