Surely it is too annoying that every time the screen is locked, the Wifi is disconnected from our iPhone. It’s something too boring for the simple fact that we have to unlock it to see if we have any new messages or notifications. This is why we are going to find the solution and end with the fact that the Wi-Fi disconnects when iPhone screen locks.
IPhone devices have many advantages over others and different features that make it unique. However, it is not exempt from having one or the other problem and many users have to deal with the fact that the iPhone’s Wi-Fi is disconnected when the device screen is locked. Let’s see how we can fix it.
Restart the iPhone
Believe it or not, this is one of the easiest ways to solve a lot of problems. All we have to do is turn off the device for a while and that’s it. Turn off the phone for about 5-10 minutes. Then just hold down the power button for a few seconds until the Apple logo appears.
Disable wireless networks
What we are going to do is go to Settings> Privacy> System Services and then we will need to disable the “Wireless Networks” option.
Forget the Wifi network
Basically, we’ll have to forget about the Wifi network and then reconnect. For this we will simply go to Settings> Wifi and we will have to click on the icon in the form of “i” which is to the right of the name of the network to which we are connected, we choose to forget this network.
All you have to do is reconnect to the Wifi network in question.
Update iOS version
It is always recommended to keep the operating system up to date. Even apps, otherwise they can end up causing problems. So what we’re going to do is go to Settings> General> Software Update> Download and Install. In order to check if we have a new version of Apple’s operating system available.
