The 7,000 people who received an invitation to vaccinate with AstraZeneca, but for whom no vaccines were actually available in Antwerp, will still be able to be vaccinated. The city of Antwerp turned to Flanders and succeeded in providing the victims with a different vaccine.

Due to a technical problem, the system that sent the invitations had called up more people over 65 than AstraZenecas were available – the many delivery problems, you know – but those people will soon all be getting a shot from Moderna.
Residents of Stabroek, Wommelgem, Borsbeek and Schoten, who are also vaccinated at Spoor Oost, are said to have been the victims of the shortage of AstraZeneca vaccines.
