No new players have been recruited yet Manchester United after bringing in Donny van de Beek. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said MU is still trying to bring in more players.
Donny van de Beek so MU’s only recruit in the summer transfer market so far. The 23-year-old midfielder was brought off from Ajax for a fee of 39 million pounds.
Throughout this summer, MU has been linked with a number of players. However, it was only Van de Beek who actually landed at Old Trafford.
Jack Grealish, who was called the target of MU, finally extended his contract with Aston Villa. While transferring Jadon Sancho has not materialized even though the Borussia Dortmund player has long been linked with the Red Devils.
MU has also been reportedly interested in Gareth Bale and Sergio Reguilon. However, the two players are now closer to Tottenham Hotspur.
Cool in the transfer market, Solskjaer said that there were not many players who he thought could add to the quality of the MU squad. However, Solskjaer is hopeful that new players will arrive before the transfer window closes on October 5.
