MANCHESTER – Trainer Manchester United, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, without hesitation, praised Chelsea goalkeeper Edouard Mendy. He was impressed by the huge contribution made by Mendy when strengthening Chelsea in the match against Man United.
Chelsea coach Frank Lampard has indeed decided to field his new goalkeeper, Mendy, when he visits Man United’s headquarters in the sixth week of the 2020-2021 Premier League. The decision also looked very right because Mendy was able to show neat action.
The Senegalese goalkeeper managed to make a series of fantastic saves that led Chelsea to a 0-0 draw. One of the saves Mendy made was when the Chelsea goal received a big threat from Marcus Rashford.

Having found this condition, Soskjaer seemed impressed. He called the 28-year-old goalkeeper a key player in helping Chelsea keep a clean sheet and reap the draw against Man United.

Regarding Man United’s game in the match against Chelsea which took place at Old Trafford Stadium, Saturday, October 24, 2020, WIB itself, Solskjer considered that the match was balanced. The two teams were considered to be equally strong so the results finally ended in a draw.
“So, I think it’s a balanced game. I think we started quite slowly and didn’t really put our authority into the game, ”explained the Norwegian.
