Solingen. It can be quick. One careless moment and nothing in life is what it was before. An accident, a serious illness, even advancing age can change everything. Whether hospitalization, nursing care or death – if you think about your wishes and needs in advance, you save yourself and your loved ones a lot of time, stress and nerves in moments of high emotion.
Nobody likes to deal with the subject of transience, however. And yet it is important to think about this early on in order to be well prepared. But where do you start? What to pay attention to? The precautionary folder comprises the following areas:
Personal: Here, facts and figures about you are listed in the pension folder. This also includes, for example, tax numbers, employers and overviews of various memberships, pensions, insurances and for the digital estate. In addition, personal details of relatives and other important contacts can be entered.
Finances: The pension folder also contains a financial section. In this way, your relatives get a complete overview of your assets – such as accounts, savings books, custody accounts and loans. In this way, you can save your bereaved relatives from possible problems with handling the inheritance.
Powers of attorney: This part contains various templates – from the power of attorney to the care decree to the general power of attorney. It also contains a lot of help with filling out the form, answers frequently asked questions about power of attorney and provides information about the Central Register of Wills and the Central Pension Register.
Hospitalization: In this area of the precautionary folder, important medical data relating to health such as illnesses and medication are entered. On the other hand, wishes relating to the hospital stay can be noted. Another important aspect of your provision is the living will. The folder contains both a form and tips for completing it. Also included are an emergency ID card for your wallet, with which you can refer to the living will, and an organ donation card.
Testament: This section in the pension folder deals with all questions relating to the will. Numerous help for wording make it easier to write your last will. It also contains information on legal succession and inheritance tax.
Death: A checklist ensures that nothing important falls under the table in the time after the death. With a partnership agreement, a funeral plan, a pet care plan, a list of people to be notified, and sample letters for dismissals, you can sort out many things while you are still alive.
