Solingen/ Berlin. The Solingen-based company Dermanostic has won the 2024 Founders’ Prize. The company was honored in the “Up-and-Comers” category. The 22nd German Founders’ Prize was awarded on Tuesday evening in Berlin.

Three photos of the skin changes are taken using a smartphone app and a few questions are answered – the so-called anamnesis. A short time later, the Dermanostic dermatologist transmits the diagnosis via the app, not in “doctor’s jargon” but in understandable language.

Expansion to Europe and Dubai is planned
Prof. Dr. Ulrich Reuter, President of the German Savings Banks Association, in his laudation: “You have built a successful digital dermatologist’s practice – with diagnosis and advice via app. Your clear goal: to become the largest digital dermatologist’s practice in Europe. 300,000 patients treated speak a clear language. More and more health insurance companies are getting involved, and expansion to Europe and Dubai is already being planned.”
