Garrucha celebrated the second edition of Solifest 2023, a record-breaking solidarity festival, with great success, since it is estimated that some 4,000 people attended and some 21,363 euros were donated to a total of 8 associations. It should be noted that the region of Murcia was involved in the event, with people coming not only from the entire province of Almería but from all over Murcia.
Guillermo Nieto, organizer of the Festival, had the close collaboration of many people to make this Festival viable, which was a resounding success. “Currently the radio program I do also plays in podcast format and is among the 10 most downloaded pop-rock music programs in Spain. That made people come from many parts of the country, since at Estación GNG we have been talking about this charity event for children that we were going to carry out, for months, trying to motivate people from all over the country”.
It is noteworthy that the companies in the area threw themselves into the project and there were finally more than 100 that supported the event by buying tickets that they distributed among their employees and friends. This solidarity festival has left an indelible mark by raising an astonishing sum of €21,363, which will go to eight noble causes, with a donation of €2,670 per association.
The solidarity initiative was promoted by the prominent radio host Guillermo Nieto and had the generous support of 104 companies in the province of Almería and the Region of Murcia.
Guillermo Nieto maintains that “we cannot ignore the valuable support of the Garrucha City Council, whose strong commitment and dedication were essential to ensure the resounding success of Solifest 2023. In addition, an outstanding staff of the Local Police, Civil Protection and the Civil Guard They ensured the security of the event during the 16 hours it lasted, from a security post established at Solifest 2023”.
From the youngest to the oldest, everyone enjoyed an unforgettable experience at Solifest 2023. The children’s area, run by the Leyenda Show company, was a complete success, with bouncy castles and a toy library that delighted the little ones. In addition, the bustling craft market, organized by the Moxacar Events Company, offered a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere during the 16-hour festival.
Another outstanding moment was the Motera gathering and solidarity march coordinated by CD Almagrera 4×4, which started from the gate of Solifest at noon and created an impressive motorbike parade through the streets of Garrucha.
The Solifest stage witnessed the brilliant presence of more than 70 artists, including DJs, singers and dancers, who captivated the audience with their performances throughout the entire event. The energy and talent displayed on stage created an unforgettable atmosphere.
By Solifest 2023 passed artists like Miguel Saez, The Girls of the Farrandula, Edu Mambo, Rocio Lopez or Brow Quintana as well as Dj’s like David Ponce, Zapa, Linsen Mcalajan, Pepelu Lopez or Juanmi Sanchez.
