Now mandatory in many places, the protective mask has just made its entry among the essential products. The local Red Cross team in Bouzonville is now in a position to distribute it to its beneficiaries.
“The obligation to wear a mask in the streets, shops, schools, administrations represents a significant cost for families who have limited resources,” says Chantal Garau, head of the local team. For this reason, I think that the mask finds its place in the help that we can provide. “

3,000 free masks
“It was a Bouzonville trader, Gaetano Lazzaro, who offered us 3,000 masks, 500 of which are intended for children. He supports us regularly and also gave us chocolate Saints Nicholas for the children. With the leaders of the local unit of Thionville of which we are part, we thank him for this welcome gesture of solidarity in this difficult period when needs are exploding, ”continues the manager.
