As usual in the Virgen del Olivar de Alaquàs fault, a new solidarity idea has been presentedthis time in collaboration with the Hospitality Association of the municipality. Thus, it is intended to create a route in September so that eight different restaurants in the town offer a solidarity cap for 1 euro, a baked potato with different sauceswhich will be donated to the NGO of chef José Andrés, “World Central Kitchen”.
The Flor de Canela café, Clos del Gos, la Sequiera, Larosa, Arrels, Ateneo, Hotel Plaza, el Imperial and San Francisco the restaurants will be in charge of making the tapa in September so that the population can follow that route and donate the money raised to this organization that is dedicated to fighting world hunger.
As for the type of cover, “It has been chosen to make a potato, since it is a dish that everyone likes and they can eat it regardless of intolerances, whether they are vegan or celiac”, explained the vice president of the Alaquàs hoteliers association, Rosa Cantos, who added, “The idea is to create a joint project to get it mobilized throughout the town”.
Thus, the project was already presented last Saturday in the Virgen del Olivar fault where a hundred servings have already been sold whose amount will be donated in September together with the benefits obtained from the route.
