Solidarity directs aid delivery to families of victims and injured in Mansourieh canal bus coup

Social Solidarity Minister Dr Nevin Al-Qabbaj is following up on the overturning incident of the bus which fell into the Mansouriya canal near Manshaat Abdel Nabi village, Aga centre, Dakahlia governorate, and has so far resulted in 6 injuries and 18 dead, and searches are ongoing through rescue teams for the possibility of more deaths.

The Minister of Social Solidarity ordered the director of the Dakahlia Social Solidarity Directorate to quickly address the repercussions of the accident to help the families, as the Relief Committee of the Governorate Social Solidarity Directorate immediately went to the scene of the accident to inspect it, count the loss of life and help the families and the wounded.

It was decided to disburse a sum of 50,000 lire in the event of the death of the head of the family, 25,000 lire in the event of the death of a family member, and an amount of 5,000 lire for each accident in accordance with the period of stay of the injured person in hospital”.

Al-Qabbaj offered his sincere condolences to the families of the victims, calling on them to provide all aspects of assistance needed by the affected families and to mobilize NGO resources to provide more assistance to the families.
