The Pôle de l’Economie Solidaire et Circulaire de Niort will be a space for cooperation and innovation for those working in the solidarity and circular economy. Within 2 years, it will host:
- professional premises with shared resources
- a reuse store (with ENVIE, Emmaüs, Les Ateliers du Bocage, Bazar, etc., a recycling center)
- a third place comprising a shared workshop, a collective kitchen, a coworking space, meeting rooms and offices.
This project is supported by the AIVE association, an association for the professional and social integration of people in difficulty, which participates in the Fabrique Aviva, the national competition for social and solidarity entrepreneurship.
The premises have already been found: an old factory that had been abandoned for 10 years in Niort.
The Pole of Solidarity and Circular Economy is one of the 3 regional finalists. The selected project will leave with 60,000 euros.
