Solid fall on the Oslo Stock Exchange

Equinor was today’s most traded share, but the company ended with a decline of 2.9 percent.

Just behind followed Norsk Hydro and Aker BP, which fell by 4 and 2.5 per cent respectively.

Pila pointed the other way for Rec Silicon, which rose by 1.7 percent. There was also an upswing for both PGS (+6.6), Golden Ocean Group (+0.7) and Nordic Semiconductor (+1.7).

With a fall of 7.4 percent, the decline continued for SAS on Wednesday, which also declined the day before. This happens after the airline on Tuesday presented a result for the first quarter which showed a loss before tax of 1.5 billion Swedish kroner.

A barrel of North Sea oil was traded for 117 dollars a barrel on Wednesday afternoon, an increase of around one percent.

The decline on the Oslo Stock Exchange is in line with the negative trend in Europe. The FTSE 100 index in London fell 0.8 percent, while the German DAX index fell 0.2 percent. In Paris, the CAC 40 index fell by 0.5 percent.
