Musical Soldier of Orange can be seen again from 2 September in the TheaterHangaar in Katwijk, reports production company NEW Productions on Thursday. The performance has been shown in the Netherlands for more than 9.5 years, but that record was suddenly interrupted in March by the corona crisis.
Most musicals in the Netherlands play one season or at most a few years.
More than 70,000 people who have tickets for a show that has been canceled can exchange their tickets or vouchers for a new date ticket from August 5-9. Regular ticket sales will start on August 10.
In the performances of Soldier of Orange due to the corona measures, a maximum of 30 percent of the seats will be occupied. The Katwijk hall has a total of 1,103 seats. The cast and crew of the musical, 150 people in total, will also adhere to the applicable rules regarding the corona virus.
From first van Soldier of Orange was on October 30, 2010. Due to the corona crisis, the celebration of the musical’s 10th anniversary has been postponed from October to an unknown date.
