The use of subsidized solar will soon be limited. Subsidized diesel users have been asked to register their vehicles on the subsiditepat.mypertamina.id page since July 1, 2022. Subsidized diesel is not for all diesel vehicles.
The distribution of subsidized diesel is also regulated. Meanwhile, referring to Presidential Regulation number 191 of 2014 there are three types of vehicles that are entitled to use subsidized diesel with the following details.
1. Black plate individual motorized vehicle
2. Public transportation of people or goods on 4 wheels
3. Public transportation of people or goods with 6 . wheels

The government is currently revising the regulation. Reportedly, for individual motorized vehicles with black plates there is an exception for pickups. Meanwhile, other black plate cars will be prohibited from using subsidized diesel.
The number of uses is also limited. In the Decree of the Head of the Downstream Oil and Gas Regulatory Agency Number 04/P3JBT/BPH MIGAS/KOM/2020, the first dictum states that 4-wheeled individual motorized vehicles consume a maximum of 60 liters per day.
Then for public motorized vehicles transporting people or goods on 4 wheels at most 80 liters per day. Finally, motorized vehicles transporting people/goods with 6 wheels are at most 200 liters per day.
This restriction is not without reason. Pertamina assesses that the distribution of fuel has not been right on target. 60% of the people who can afford or are included in this richest group consume almost 80% of the total consumption of subsidized fuel. Meanwhile, 40% of the vulnerable and poor only consume 20% of the total energy subsidy.
To be right on target, vehicles that have been registered will be matched by the system. If your vehicle is included in the criteria for receiving subsidized diesel, you can still buy it at a gas station.
Currently registration is still open. After registering, you will get a QR Code which will be used for transactions. Corporate Secretary of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Irto Ginting said that the use of QR Code for subsidized diesel transactions would soon be implemented.
“Registration is still open, but the implementation of the QR Code will soon be determined,” said Irto when confirmed by detikcom, Saturday (30/7/2022).
