The maneuver called “Perihelio” is the first of its kind and occurs after the spacecraft has completed, since its approach to Venus in December, a similar action that reduced the orbit of the probe.

The maker of such an achievement is a three-meter long spaceship, which was launched into space during 2018, and is expected to shorten its distance from the sun by 2025 to 6.2 million kilometers.
