Miguel Figueredo, president of Sol de América, from Paraguay, reported yesterday that the club did not receive any official offer from the Bolivar club for Brazilian striker Francisco Da Costa, who is part of that team.
The name of the footballer began to sound in our midst as a possible reinforcement of the Academy, but in Paraguayan territory they consider that it is a speculation.
“There are no negotiations yet … No one has yet made us a formal offer in writing,” was the reply from the head of the Asunción squad.
However, he did not close the possibility of a transfer of the footballer, as long as the celestial ones make a formal offer and it is good.
“If the proposal is good, you can go,” he remarked.
The manager Carlos Giagni corroborated the response of the president of the solense club and indicated that it is about rumors from the press.
“The truth is that there is no official negotiation for Francisco Da Costa for the Bolivar, rather they are rumors from the press,” Giagni remarked.
After the celestial ones reached an agreement with the left back José Sagredo, the name of the striker who will arrive to replace Leonardo Ramos, who returned to Mexico, is awaited.
A few days ago, Vice President Jorge del Solar affirmed that they have 24 names on file to elect the new battering ram of the Academy. At the moment, the most popular hiring of the club is that of Patricio Rodríguez, for whom the club must pay $ 375,000 in cash to Wilstermann and transfer the footballer César Menacho.
