The SOKO LinX of the State Criminal Police Office has taken over the investigation into the Porsche fire in Leipzig-Leutzsch.
Leipzig / Dresden – Due to a possible political background, the fire in a Porsche Panamera in the Leipzig district of Leutzsch will be on Saturday night (TAG24 reported) investigated by the special commission for left-wing extremism (“LinX”).

According to its own statements, the State Criminal Police Office (LKA) took over the further investigations into the case on Monday.
After initial investigations and questioning of witnesses, an arson is likely. A politically motivated act cannot currently be ruled out.
The investigators rely on the help of the population for the clarification and are looking for witnesses who observed the crime, who can provide information about it and suspects or abnormalities in social networks.
The front part of the vehicle had already been on fire when the police arrived in Rathenaustraße.
The fire brigade was able to put out the flames, people were not harmed.
