Sohag Nursing organizes an educational seminar on reproductive health with the participation of 200 female students in university cities as part of the Bedaya Initiative activities

The Faculty of Nursing at Sohag University organized an educational conference for female students in University City about reproductive health, in the conference hall at the University City headquarters for female students on the old campus. President of the University, and he said that the conference comes within the activities and cultural and awareness events organized by the College within the framework of the President’s Initiative “A new beginning for to raise an Egyptian human being,” which was launched by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, the President of the Republic, with the aim of developing the Egyptian citizen, developing his skills and abilities, improving the standard of living, and ensuring a decent life for all members of society.

Dr. Ghani Abdel Nasser, Dean of the College, explained that the conference aimed to increase health awareness among female students, and give them correct information about some of the wrong health practices that are common in society, which adding that Dr. Thuraya Muhammad Mahmoud, the college’s Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Dr. to the concept of reproductive health, how to deal with related health problems, training on breast self-examination, and raising awareness of the importance of early detection of breast tumors, as well as presenting basic the idea of ​​personal hygiene to prevent the spread of disease, and provides several tips and guidelines on how to maintain personal hygiene and the cleanliness of the surrounding environment in general.
