I have been using Serato DJ Pro for 6 years and am very satisfied with it. It works perfectly in combination with my Numark NS7 III. I myself do turntablism as a hobby and see in the international groups that Serato is by far the most used.

Yes, it costs quite a bit, but then you also have a piece of software that is very professional. It’s that I won the entire DJ Suite myself via Serato, but otherwise I would have considered buying a pack anyway.
Pitch ‘n Time happens to be one of my favorite effects and you can only get it through the Essential or the DJ Suite pack.

Don’t forget that many DJs like Laidback Luke don’t use the default Pioneer DJ kit. LL has completely switched to Denon DJ Prime and can sometimes see him using Serato when explaining.
