Software-update: Apple macOS 11.2.2 – Computer – Downloads

Apple has released macOS 11.2.2, also known as Big Sur. In version 11, which can be downloaded for free from the Apple Store, Apple has refreshed the user interface with icons that are reminiscent of iOS and buttons that appear when needed and disappear when they are not. Furthermore, the message center, Apple Maps and Safari have also received major improvements. Version 11.2.2 should further prevent damage when certain MacBooks are connected to non-Apple USB-C chargers.

macOS Big Sur 11.2.2 prevents MacBook Pro (2019 or later) and MacBook Air (2020 or later) models from incurring damage when they are connected to certain third-party, non-compliant powered USB-C hubs and docks.
