Software-update: Apple macOS 11.1 – Computer – Downloads

You can idd. hard to expect for any piece of software.

But macOS is one of the flagship products of the largest tech company in the world. I expect a little more of that to be tracked more actively than say KiCad or Filezilla (two random examples from the queue).

In itself it will be in the news anyway if there is a completely new version. Just like with iOS, but it is just a bit clumsy that 2 weeks after that this is just as a ‘message sent in’ that there is an upgrade version.

Not a man overboard, of course, but I wouldn’t say ‘smoot sailing’ either.
