Sofia Vergara is being sued for not paying her home renovation bill. According to entertainment site TMZ the actress failed to pay the bill of 1.7 million dollars (1.5 million euros), after which the contractor went to court.
According to court documents that TMZ has seen, rented the Modern Familystar hired a contractor in April 2022 to renovate her $26 million villa in Beverly Hills.
For example, the guesthouse, her dining room and her office have been renovated.
The company, Reside Custom Homes, says Vergara agreed to the estimated costs prior to the renovation. Also during the work, the actress reportedly said that she had agreed to the payment that her accountant would make. But according to the contractor, the final invoice was never paid.
TMZ Vergara’s manager has asked for a response, but one has not yet been given.
