The 51-year-old star has admitted that her body has helped her career, but believes her talent has kept her at the top.
“It would be absurd to deny it or for it to make me feel bad,” she told Spanish newspaper El País. “My giant breasts and my body opened doors for me; they were my passport to the world when I was 20 and started out as a model, but today I’m 51 and I’m still here.’
Today, she believes her acting skills overshadow her looks, adding: “If all you see is my boobs, that’s your problem.”
The Modern Family star revealed that her fearlessness has helped her take risks in her career as well.
“I’m not doing brain surgery, it’s just for fun and the worst that can happen to me is that they say I look ugly or that this jerk doesn’t know how to play. I can take it,” she adds.
Sofia currently stars in the Netflix series Griselda, where she plays Colombian drug baron Griselda Blanco. She looks almost unrecognizable in the role.
