Along with Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, Sofía Sánchez walked the red carpet at the Barbie premiere in Los Angeles, California, wearing the look of the first Mattel doll with Down Syndrome.
Made by hand, the shapes and colors on her dress have great meaning, as the blue and yellow colors and the butterflies “are symbols and colors associated with Down syndrome awareness,” Mattel explained.
