KOMPAS.com – Flight service private jet (private jet) which was previously operated at Halim Perdanakusuma Airport, has now moved to Soekarno Hatta International Airport.
This is in line with the revitalization carried out at Halim Perdanakusuma airport, now private jet flights have been operated at Soekarno-Hatta Airport since January 24, 2022.
PT Angkasa Pura II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said there were 14 airlines operating private jet services at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten.
“Regarding the facilities, the departure and arrival of private jet passengers are carried out at a special location, namely the Saphire Precious Lounge which is located in the Terminal 1 area, not at the passenger terminal of scheduled airlines,” he said in a press release received. According to him, during the period from January 24 to March 10, 2022, the number of private airplane flights operated by 14 airlines at Soekarno-Hatta Airport cumulatively reached 523.
That number consists of 353 domestic flights and 170 international flights. Meanwhile, the total number of passengers was 2,584 passengers.
Special facilities for private jet passengers
Awaluddin also said that there are at least three special facilities that are most needed by private jet passengers.
Starting from special lounges, special vehicle parking areas, and Customs, Quarantine and Immigration services.
In addition, Soekarno-Hatta Airport has also been equipped with various additional airside infrastructure such as East Cross Taxiway, High Speed Exit Taxiway, and Runway.

This facility is believed to increase the airport’s capacity to serve flights, and to serve private jet flights smoothly.
