SODANE – Both adults and children want to learn… “Cancer Education” I have breast cancer on both sides263

Cancer is the number one cause of death in Hokkaido.

It is a threat to the lives and health of the people of Hokkaido, and conquering cancer is the wish of many people.

There are people who are working towards the goal of “creating a society where people can live with peace of mind even if they have cancer.”

Hokkaido Cancer Control Fund,is.

In February 2015, Hokkaido took the lead in creating a system in which all Hokkaido residents come together to support cancer patients and their families. We were able to establish a fund based on donations and donations.

In February 2020, the Hokkaido Cancer Control Fund will celebrate its 10th anniversary since its establishment.

The event will once again be held to further educate residents and businesses in Hokkaido about the Hokkaido Cancer Control Fund, as well as to promote efforts toward the realization of a “society that is immune to cancer.”

December 17th (Tuesday) 1:00pm – 10th Anniversary Forum of the Hokkaido Cancer Control Fund

“Learn about cancer for adults and children”

The person who will give the commemorative lecture will be Dr. Keiichi Nakagawa, a specially appointed professor in the Department of Comprehensive Radiation Oncology at the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Medicine, a leading authority who has given various lectures on cancer education.

Visitors will receive a book created under the supervision of a teacher that will help both adults and children learn about cancer.

In the panel discussion,Aiming to realize a society that is immune to cancer” I will be participating as a supporter of cancer education, as well as people who are helping patients and companies take action.

Personally, I was moved by being able to sit and talk with Mr. Shibata.

I have been interviewing him for a long time, and even when he was suffering from cancer, I was given peer support. I am humbled that you have been active for so long.
