The mayor of Socuéllamos and the Councilor for Equality Vanessa Sáez have shown their support for the group of women affected by breast cancer ‘Powerpuff Girls’ in the presentation of the solidarity hiking route organized by this women’s group for next Sunday, May 30 , in Ruidera. Under the slogan “The impossible is possible”, funds will be raised for the “Vicky’s Dream” Foundation, which will allocate them to research projects on childhood cancer.
This hiking route will take place in Ruidera and will be completed with other outdoor activities. This was announced by the representative of this association, Montse Jiménez, who has expressed her gratitude to the Consistory for its support and its closeness. Mayor Elena García has highlighted “the importance of this initiative and has conveyed to them the willingness of the government team to continue cooperating with them in future solidarity proposals.”
Registration for the route must be done through email [email protected] , the donation is 12 euros, there are fifty places due to the anti-Covid restrictions and the number, with which you also participate in the raffle for a basket of cleaning products donated by the company Limpiezas León, from Socuéllamos, you can collect the same day of the activity, from 08:45 h. in “El Huerto”, in Ruidera.
The 7.5-kilometer route will depart at 09:00. from the old Santa Elena Hydroelectric Station, located nearby, and will end in Ruidera town, where the activity will continue with an active dance masterclass and a master class in Tai Chi.
