Sociologist Herman Loos was a meal courier at home in Leuven for a year: “It’s hard work for little money”

Herman Loos bundled his experiences in a book. “Homo Deliveroo” it’s called, with the subtitle: forced laborer of the road. He works as a sociologist at the Hogeschool van Antwerp and Brussels, and in his spare time is still active as a bicycle courier, but no longer sells meals. “Just packages,” he laughs.
