Societe Generale exports EMP to Africa with AFD

This is one of the main responses provided to companies in the face of the crisis in France. But it could also prove its effectiveness in Africa, also weakened by the pandemic.

The French Development Agency (AFD), through its subsidiary Proparco, dedicated to financing the private sector, has set up a guaranteed loan mechanism, similar to the mechanism of loans guaranteed by the State (PGE) in France. And Société Générale, established in 19 African countries, will be the first to distribute them.
