The top position is still occupied by Real Sociedad after collecting 20 points from nine matches, following the 2-0 victory over Granada. Villarreal looms below him by two points.
Atletico Madrid in third place after collecting 17 points from seven matches. On Saturday, Luis Suarez cs celebrated four goals against Cadiz.
Victory Barcelona over Real Betis 5-2 to boost its position in the table. Lionel Messi cs rose to eighth position with 11 points in seven matches, the same as Valencia under him but has played nine games.
