He Socialist Party has been the most voted political force in Castellar in the general elections held this Sunday, with 38.86% support and 614 votes. The Popular Party has remained very close, with a strong increase compared to the elections held four years ago, given that it has gone from 14.39% to 33.16%, with 524 votes. Only 90 votes difference between the main parties.
Vox has been the third political force in Castellar, with 246 votes (15.56%), losing almost 80 votes compared to the last elections. For his part, summer slightly worsens the results of We can in 2019, with 145 votes (9,17%).
The rest of the candidacies have remained far from the main formations, with Forward Andalusia being the first of them with just 14 votes.
Regarding the Senatethe three socialist candidates finish in the top positions with approximately one 40% of the spark vote. Alfonso Moscoso is the most voted of the sepia ballots, followed by Candida Verdier y Jose Ramon Ortega. The popular Joseph Ignatius Landaluce finished fourth, 71 votes behind the Socialists.
Participation in Castellar has been higher than in 2019. The 69,42% of the chisparreros called to the polls has gone to vote, a 2,93% more than in the previous elections, going up to the 1.628.

In the last general elections held in November 2019 in Castellar, the PSOE got 636 votes, which represented 41.7% of the votes cast. The second most voted party was Voxcon 322 votes and 21.16%. As the third most voted political force, is the People’s Party con 219 votes, 14.39%. The fourth most voted list in Castellar four years ago was United We Cancon 164 votes (10.78%) while citizens achievement 140 votes (9,2%).
