In our center, unaccompanied minors are housed in residential groups at the cantonal level and receive intensive care from our professional team. Our goal is to provide long-term support to young people in their professional and social integration.

Start of employment: immediately or by arrangement
Your tasks
- They accompany and care for unaccompanied minor asylum seekers within the framework of the reference person system.
- They develop needs-based daily structures and leisure activities for and with the young people in order to promote their personal development, social interaction and integration.
- They design the living environment in accordance with the needs and cultural backgrounds of the young asylum seekers and actively support them with everyday tasks such as hygiene, shopping, cooking and housekeeping.
- In cooperation with the administration team, they align economic social assistance in accordance with legal requirements.
- You are responsible for case-related documentation in accordance with the guidelines of the Minors and Young Adults Division.
Your profile
- Completed tertiary education or shortly before completion in social pedagogy, social work or related disciplines
- Professional experience in the field of migration and/or youth work is an advantage
- Stability, stress resistance and willingness to work in shifts
- Intercultural competence, empathy and sensitivity for closeness and distance
- Excellent knowledge of German, knowledge of foreign languages is an advantage
- Good IT user knowledge (e.g. MS Office)
