Social Security will stop issuing payments in December to these beneficiaries

The Social Security Administration (SSAfor its acronym in English) will make important modifications in your payments corresponding to the last two months of this 2024 that could affect its beneficiaries.

The annual payment scheduleSSA contemplates that deposits are made on the first day of each monthbut if this is a weekend or holiday it will go to the last Friday of the previous month.

This way, the payment corresponding to December will have to be made of the first Sunday of the last month of the year to Friday, November 29which will result in two deposits being made one month while none in the other.
