The Social Psychiatric Service (SPDI) of the district of Offenbach is an important contact point for people who are confronted with mental illnesses or life-threatening situations. The dedicated specialist staff takes care of those affected and their relatives and offers competent advice. In addition, the service supports people who suffer from alcohol or drug addiction.
In general, consultation hours are possible in various branch offices in order to facilitate access to help. Those affected can discuss their concerns in the SPDI’s external consultation hours by prior appointment. Appointments can be made by telephone on 06074/8180-63792 or by email to sozialpsychiatrie@kreis-offenbach.de.
An overview of the current office hours of the social psychiatric service in the branch offices during the coming summer months:
• Dreieich: The consultation hours in the town hall, Hauptstrasse 45, take place on Wednesdays from 2 to 4 p.m., but currently only by prior appointment.
• Heusenstamm: The consultation hours in the town hall, Im Herrngarten 1, take place every 14 days on Tuesdays from 2 to 4 p.m. in room E31 in odd-numbered calendar weeks. Here, too, appointments are currently only possible by prior arrangement.
• Mühlheim: The office hours in the branch office at Friedensstraße 20 will be canceled from July 24 to August 14, 2023. After that, appointments can be made again by phone or email.
• Neu-Isenburg: The consultation hours in the town hall, Hugenottenallee 53, will be canceled from July 24 to September 5, 2023. Appointments by appointment will only be possible after that.
• Obertshausen: The branch office is currently still being planned, so there are no on-site appointments yet.
• Rodgau-Nieder-Roden: The office hours in the branch office, Puiseauxplatz 1, will be canceled from July 24th to August 14th, 2023. After that, appointments can be made again by phone or email.
• Rödermark: The office hours in the branch office at Konrad-Adenauer-Straße 4 – 8 will be canceled from July 24 to August 14, 2023. After that, appointments can be made by phone or email.
• Seligenstadt: The external consultation hours and the walks will not take place beyond the summer holidays until further notice. However, the addiction counseling center in the neighborhood house at Hasenpfad 31 is open. Appointments are possible on Mondays between 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. by appointment. In the period from August 21 to September 1, 2023, however, the addiction counseling will remain closed.
• Langen: The addiction counseling service in the “Langen Stop Meeting Center” branch, Elisabethenstraße 59a, offers appointments on Fridays from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. by prior arrangement. However, no appointments are possible in the period from August 18 to September 1, 2023.
