Social media platform Bluesky has 2 million users

I’m there myself, it’s a bit like the old Twitter, the big difference is no algorithm, you actually only see what people you follow share. And you can filter that in different ways.

You can also adjust your timeline or even create one yourself with content you want to see (I got there via the Transformers community, so I have a tab with Transformers art)

There are moderated mute lists. These are maintained by people. Popular examples are anti-crypto lists or anti-fascist user lists. These users will never appear on your timelines.

There are no commercials.

No DM system yet. And you can still post videos.

I mainly used Twitter for game news and offers. And to talk to people who, like me, collected Transformers.
Bluesky has now so far replaced this. That I hardly ever touch Twitter anymore, except when someone forwards a link…
