Social housing in wooden structure in the northeast of Paris designed by archi5

The archi5 agency is at the origin of this building of 74 social housing units with a wooden structure. On Avenue Jean Jaurès, in the 19th arrondissement of Paris, the homes were delivered in September 2021. The operation has a main building, two R+1 wings and a set of houses on two levels , along the eastern dividing line. The project tends to engage the actors of the project and its inhabitants, advances the agency in a press release. “The new operation […] offers a structure (thickness of the building, orientations, interior organization) adapted to the specifications of Paris Habitat“, owner, she says.

The important thing was to combine the quality of the new housing with the improvement of the pre-existing buildings. The architects behind this project sought to bring harmony between the new and old inhabitants of these places. The archi5 project is indeed accompanied by another, on the same block: the conversion of a car park into a building with 75 housing units for homeownership, carried out in association with the agency Encore bonheur architectes.
