Social conflict. Demonstrations of October 5: mobilization in Lorraine

Increase in the prices of electricity, gas and fuel, purchasing power, reform of unemployment insurance, pensions … Anger is roaring. The CGT, FO, Solidaires, FSU unions, as well as the Fidl, the MNL, the UNEF and the UNL for young people, have called for a strike. In Lorraine, several events have taken shape, notably in Nancy, Bar-le-Duc, Epinal and Metz.

At the call of the Force Ouvrière union, the agents of the municipal workshops of Sarrebourg walked out on Tuesday as part of the national strike. On the menu of demands: salary increases and the calculation of pensions. 100% of the agents of the municipal workshops walked out for an hour, joined by agents from the swimming pool, the library and the administrative services.
