The government attaches particular importance to the social and solidarity economy with the objective of creating 50,000 jobs per year, underlined, Monday in the House of Representatives, the Minister of Tourism, Crafts and Social Economy and Solidarity, Fatim-Zahra Ammor.
In response to an oral question on “the strengthening and development of the ecosystem of the social and solidarity economy” posed by the Istiqlalien Group of Unity and Egalitarianism, Ms. Ammor indicated that while waiting for the framework law which will give impetus to the sector, the ministry’s strategy is based on a participatory approach involving all stakeholders.
These are ministerial departments, regional councils, international cooperation and the private sector, she said, noting that efforts are being made to strengthen capacities through training in legislation, cooperative accounting, financing , marketing, promotion and electronic marketing.
In this sense, the minister specified that 480 training sessions were organized and 353 newly created cooperatives benefited from support in 2023.
Regarding support, accompaniment and improvement programs, the minister cited the “MOAZARA” program which financed 414 projects, the “Lalla Al Moutaaouina” program intended for women and the “Solidarity Generation” programs dedicated to youth.
