The Moselle Football District proceeded, this Thursday, to the draw for the quarters and semi-finals of the Women’s Moselle Cup, in the premises of the company Arkema Carling – Saint-Avold. Large winner of Hombourg-Haut in the previous round (9-0), the Sarrebourg reserve will move to Montigny-lès-Metz, which also did well in the round of 16 by martyring Sarreguemines (12-2)! Marly will receive FC Woippy, Amnéville will challenge Terville and US Thionville Lusitanos will have to wait to find out their opponent: the round of 16 between Fontoy and Saint-Julien was marred by an administrative error, which leaves the result in suspense. The quarter-finals will be played on Sunday April 17, the semi-finals on May 8 and the title will be disputed on June 22 in Creutzwald.

Fontoy – Saint-Julien probably to be played again
The result of the last round of 16, between Fontoy and Saint-Julien-lès-Metz, has not yet been confirmed and the two clubs are currently awaiting a decision from the Appeals Committee. The reason: an error by the referee of this meeting, who wrongly played an extension to the twenty-two players, contrary to what is provided for in the rules of the competition. A technical reserve having been posed, the match should be declared to be replayed, probably in the week before the quarter-finals.
