Soccer – Wolfsburg – Reunion for Glasner: Victoryless SGE calls for flawless VfL sport

Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) – Eintracht Frankfurt’s head coach Oliver Glasner is facing a special reunion. The Austrian and his team will be visiting Glasner’s former club VfL Wolfsburg, which won the first four league games under Mark van Bommel, at the end of the 5th Bundesliga matchday today (7.30 p.m. / DAZN). The Hessians are still without a win under Glasner in all three competitions. The last time in the Europa League was a 1-1 draw against Fenerbahce Istanbul, now the league is said to be the first to win. The reunion of Glasner with managing director Jörg Schmadtke is eagerly awaited, the relationship between the two was considered difficult.
