The (big) performance: PSG humiliates Lille
PSG has finally found a reference match in Ligue 1. The Parisians atomized Losc on their lawn, Sunday evening at Pierre-Mauroy, nine days before the shock in the knockout stages of the Champions League against Real Madrid. Admittedly, they took advantage of two huge blunders from Ivo Grbic, the Lille goalkeeper, to score their first two goals. But they then unrolled to win their biggest success of the season, which is more on the lawn of the one who had robbed them of the title of champion of France last season. Cherry on the cake: Kylian Mbappé found the flaw with a sublime curling strike, and Lionel Messi also scored. A rarity for the “Pulga”, which now has two goals in Ligue 1 this season. PSG has in any case reassured itself after its elimination by Nice in the Coupe de France and can prepare more calmly for the shock against Real.
The statement: Mbappé has “not made” a decision on his future
The decision, “it is not taken. Playing against Real Madrid changes a lot of things (…) I’m not going to talk to the opponent.”

The comeback: Saint-Etienne overthrows Montpellier in ten minutes
From hell to heaven, there are only ten minutes. The Greens were able to see it on Saturday, during their crazy victory acquired at the end of the match against Montpellier (3-1). Led 1-0 for much of the game, ASSE overturned everything thanks to goals from Hamouma (82nd), Nordin (90th) and Khazri (90th +3). With this second victory in a row, after that in Angers in a late match, Pascal Dupraz’s men can believe in an improbable maintenance, an objective which seemed quite utopian a few days ago. With 18 points, the Greens are only two points behind Lorient, the first non-relegation player (20 pts).
The number
58
Or the number of goals conceded by Bordeaux in barely 23 matches. It must be said that the Bordelais once again sank, Sunday on the lawn of Reims, by conceding a scathing and humiliating 5-0. Despite the rookies lined up at kick-off, the Girondins are now penultimate and more in danger than ever. And to think that their victory against Strasbourg (4-3), last week, seemed to announce a thinning… This new disappointment could in any case be fatal to their coach Vladimir Petkovic, whose position is hanging by a thread.
